We are auditioning for the following roles:
- Belle Davenport- Female 21-40, we are seeking a strong actor/singer/dancer who can easily move from drama to comedy. Belle embodies the heart, strength, charm, and compassion of the show. Must be comfortable with audience interaction. Has both a Belt/mix and classical voice with a comfortable F5.
- Squirrel Tooth Alice- Female 21-40, dancehall girl, maneater, spitfire. We are seeking a comedic actor/singer/dancer that is comfortable with character work and improvisation. Belt/mix.
- Soapy Smith- Male 25-40, a charming and manipulative con man, both hero and villain. Must be comfortable with audience interaction and delivering monologues. Must grow full beard. We are seeking a strong actor who can sing and move. Soapy Smith is an historical figure and the show is based on the real events of his life and death. Baritone.
- Theadore (Teddy) Von Oosik- All genders and ages considered (over 21), we are seeking a strong piano player and actor that is comfortable with character work and improvisation. Teddy accompanies the entire show and must be able to sing along for some numbers.
For Belle, Alice, Soapy: Please submitt one high-quality 90 second audition video that includes one monologue and one song, along with headshot and resume.
For Teddy: Please submit one 90 second audition video that showcases your piano skill, personality, and ability to carry a tune.
Extra consideration is given to performers who can cover more than one role – especially to performers with piano skills.
A YouTube or Vimeo link is the preferred submission method. You may include performance reels and/or links to your website in addition to your audition video, but not in place of it. Additional materials may be requested.
